There's a fake yellow light shining pale beneath this heavy darkness. This is my last photograph. I wish I could smile, but I'm bleeding purple tears instead. When did my mouth ever obey? There were words that formed hard and crisp on your air. I cut you deep then smiled at your crushed bones. Thinking I was strong. But I'm just a little girl, with a yellow grin. All I am, all I was Has remained. And the years decay upon the calendar. Dust in my chalk white hands. My laughter hit the wind with unexpected strength. Leaving it stunned. As you and I stole one last kiss and the essence blew light and empty through the mint colored leaves. Then the wind picked up again. And I went on my way. Walking under the fake yellow sun.
