these pills still swim
they still burn sometimes
but not for the reasons before
the emptiness feels like a crime

i don't go over-board like i did
but it still hurts like hell
when i end up in the bathroom
knowing again i've failed

failed at what i set foot to do
control my emotions, what emotions?
i don't feel anymore
just little simple notions

numbness is pain, you know...
so how do i know what's really there?
this fog has fallen within me
my answers don't seem to be anywhere

That was a good poem.  I enjoyed it.

"i don't go over-board like i did
but it still hurts like hell "

perfection, loved this, it is going in my personal library

"in a past life i was a woodcarver's knife: the sharpend blade of a wood cutter, the eldest son of the chief's brother: a maker of drums"

This is really nice. I like how you talk about ending up in the bathroom, it made it all seem very real. nice piece.
