When it began
Your words tore my heart
Didn’t you see
What you were doing to me?

I was true to our friendship
I kept your secrets
Despite my opinions and doubts
Why couldn’t you do the same for me?

I see your eyes now,
Truthful eyes
With a smile
Why did you lie?

Now you speak
Your words sound sincere
Maybe you speak the truth
Do you know the meaning of the word?

Now I must ask
Can we ever go back
To what we were
So long ago?

Thanks. I sorta learned that after some unfortunate events. I just forget it and move on. It's all I can do.
