This World Life can be hard Life can be rough The world is full of (edited by moderator) But I can be tough People can treat me bad Life can make me really mad Rape and murder, Hate and gangs Is this world always gonna be the same? Love is distant, so it seems Violence, killings, stolen dreams Silent cries, ignored screams Love and caring out the window in a breeze Killed Bodies, Stolen souls Weapons now as simple as poles Nobody cares about their neighbors But they all know that they are truly able. The world is what makes life so hard Not the way you play the cards. (c) manda 2003 Broken soul Broken soul All alone Want to run No place to go Want this pain To be gone And find a place Where I belong Don't have the strength To go on Living in a broken home Tired of fighting A hopeless scene In this house of poisened memories Mom dont care If I die I want to laugh But I want to cry Please somebody come rescue me From this terrible misery. Lots of feelings coming through in these. I hope you can see an end to this darkness because it is there. Rescue comes when you least expect it. Nice write. Marilyn. |

ty and ty...there is a lot of feelings in these...the first one is jus my observation about the world we live in and how i've come to realize that if the world as a whole would jus stop being hateful and all that crap i really think there would be less crimes such as rape and murder..and broken soul is more about my current home situation...and if anyone is interested in knowing more about that part of my life u could email me...but i gotta run, wonderful *cough cough* family get together today.. blessed be, Manda |

nice writings...i like the first poem better, but this doesn't mean that i didn't like the second one Love is distant, so it seems i love this line how will i laugh tomorrow |
