living a lie
try to fit in my role
‘though i don’t want to
but i think i have to

for others i’m just a clown
but they can’t see my fears
they will never know my feelings
will never see my tears

how will i laugh tomorrow
when i can't even smile today

I can relate to that for sure, succinctly phrased poem as well. Often people find themselves compelled by some force to play a role that people expect you to play.
