Wrote this for 9th grade english based on a poem called "The Poisoned Tree"(sorri can't remember who wrote it). It earned me an A- so I guess it can't be that bad! Tell me what you think!

"Poisoned Tree"

My friend was mad at me
And I did not know why
I asked what I had done wrong
But she did not reply

I do not know what I did
To make her smile turn into a frown
To make her eyes so cold
To make her want to keep putting me down

The pain in my heart grew day and night
I fell for trick after trick
Thinking I could make wrong into right
But I finally found out

How she really felt
If I left my pain would kill me
Though if I stayed
I die by the poisoned tree

The name of that poet is William Blake... and his poem was called "A Poison Tree."

I never much liked that poem really, I think Blake got a little lazy with the creative phrasing... yours is rather similar, just different enough to be personal, I suppose.  Congratulations on your A-.
