After years and months
I'm finally back
Back into the solitude
From which I once came from.

Back into the silence
And back into the darkness
That lies within.

Sadly enough my chapter
Of joy came to an end.
Just as all good things do.
Nothing lasts forever...

All I've got left
are memoirs and
Pictures of the past.

The Golden Years.
Whatever happened to them?
They just went by so fast.

Each year flowers blossom in the spring
creating joy and beauty among ourselves
Inspiring us to smile and sing.

Each year flowers dry and freeze in the winter
because all good things must come to an end
And all beauty must die.

And once again I find myself
Back into the emptiness that is me.

Haunted by things that were
And what I used to be.

No longer can I be me,
For I find myself dead.
In spirit and motivation.

What am I to do?
What will become of me?
But drained restless and lifeless.

Once again the joy ride is over
and I'm back again into
the emptiness and nothingness
From which I came from.

It's good to be back.

sometimes it doesn't matter wether or not the past is filled with pain or joy because sometimes just the familiarity brings a sort of comfort
