An angel walked
Into my world
That came with great surprise
With her I talked
As my heart swirled
Lost in Bowie eyes

An eye of brown
An eye of blue
Hypnotic is her stare
If she were down
What I would do
Is sing these words I share

Her smile could melt
The coldest heart
And fill it with such glee
My soul it knelt
As I impart
These thoughts I have in me

Praying now
Is all I can do
Though none can sympathize
If only somehow
I wish she knew
How I love her Bowie eyes

i love it and it's great. but i'm afraid you made a couple spelling errors. angle is really spelled angel and preying, is spelled praying. but otherwise it's great!

junemac: And I thank you as well. I too am a Bowie fan. I have 23 of his CD's. So I guess that qualifies for "fan" status...lol! Thanks again!

Well, I found another of your poems.
I like Bowie, too. This is a sweet poem.
I hope that she liked it.
Thanks

Thank you for looking more into my work, I'm honored. I don't know if she liked it or not. I e-mailed it to her and never heard from her again. But at least I got a cute piece out of it, and not so dark for that matter...lol! Anyways, thank you again, I'm glad you liked it!
