If pain is a lesson, is pain a blessing Because I’m still able to feel Or should I stay out in orbit And pretend that none of it’s real You’ll be on your way this day You’re free now, you must go You said, “Baby, I’m gonna leave you” Sang the tune and played every note I’m happy for you and all that you’ve found No more rescues for you to impart I should have been more careful with you So fragile was your heart Poor little baby, fighting the birth Cling to the womb in the clouds In terror of crashing, crashing to earth Where is my rescuer now Fighting and fearing the churning sea In anguish, I hurt and I grieve I should be banging on your door But I know that’s not what you need So what can I find in this bottle I’m sure not afraid to pursue The waves are crashing against the rocks See? I can crumble, too Keep drowning, keep drowning that pain away I’m getting a little bit clumsy You just pulled the wave out from under me I’ll be drifting, alone, in the sea Poor little baby. Painful the birth It’s rosier there in the clouds Crashing, crashing back down to earth No one can rescue me now |

wellll, I have a guitar...haven't played it in years......I just might give it a try when I sense that no one is listening. You are a good inspiration for me... you can be my agent!  |
