Put on a smile, Let's get the show on the road. It's worth all the while, Even with the heavy load. The glistening bright eyes, Confuses the observers. No way you could see the lies, No way you could see he hurt her. Nothing but an emotion, It can't drag you down, Just simply mental commotion, So cover the pain and flip the frown. She's beautiful and smart, She's constructed of steel. She'll never experience a broken heart, All she knows to do is heal. You have to play the game, And let nothing in.
