At your first glance my heart skipped a beat, but your gaze was a lance with not a care for me. Why am i doomed to care for you? Even in spring, with flowers in bloom, your ice lance gaze, brings nothing but doom, and pain, oversadowing the sun with clouds and rain. Why did i look your way, that fated day, when i first saw you my heart skipped a beat, but you were just a pretty shell, just worthless, heartless cold on the street. If you ever glance my way again, ill shield my eyes and turn away, acting like i dont remember that day.

Well now, welcome to Passions and a very nicely rhymed poem for your first posting.  I do think it might have read better, if broken into poetic format, but I still got it!   Looking forward to more of your work, and know you will sure enjoy it here.
