somebody's dungeon

I have to wonder about this art
that affords me no acceptance,
words that flow from broken heart
outside the lines, rejected.

The rainbow is retracted quick
words fall on deafened ears,
it makes the soul and spirit sick
that no one seems to hear.

I'll keep my thoughts closer now
no more sharing of my dreams.
The colors have been lost somehow
as were my silent screams.

This poet will retreat, recede
the words will go unsaid,
this poet now is quite deceased,
a poet now is dead.

You certainly have a way with these dark writes. I sincerely hope that the reality is that your life is not dark. Very interesting.

majnu, thanks so much for reading. And you also have mail.

Spirit, thanks for your very kind response. My reality is only as dark as I paint it. I will be okay.
