She was only seventeen
when she was smuggled
to death's door.
Jesica.
We heard your heartbeat
but could not keep it strong,
and now your song has ended.
Or has it?

it hasn't ..the song of a beating heart and vibrant life will be sung and echoed forever.
But the loss of body.. its terrible.

Always, Alyssa

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

The song will never end and that's the wonder of it. This is lovely and such a nice tribute.
