Waiting is the hardest part
I so wish you were here.
And though it's only games we play
It really did seem real.

The words take me places
I've never thought to go.
The heat of the passion
Is more than I've ever known.

No stings tie us together
Not one or the other.
But the connection is real
Though we both belong to another.

Remembering feels so good
And makes me want more.
So until then I'll wait here
And dream of the night before.

"It doesn't matter who you love, or how you love, but that you love" Rod McKuen
