                 Who am I?
(dedicated to my Best Friend-may you always remember our friendship)

The sweetest of hearts
Awakens to the sound of birds song
Her mind recovering from the medicine
The medicine that keeps you sane

Another electrifying brain experience
Shock your brain until the pain fades away
Lay still and let the drugs take effect
When you awake, you won't remember anything

But i do remember and i'm scared
Allow my ghosts to remain in their graves
Like sun to icecubes
My brain starts to melt
Leaving traces of my past
But tomorrow will disappear forever
In the mind of my best friend!

Enormously sad, but a cherished friendship that will not fade in your lifetime.

I am an enigma, even unto myself.
A puzzle unsolved, a mystery maybe until beyond death.  ©das

You must cherish that friendship so much.
Among true friends, pain is shared. Your poem said it truly.

I feel it is cruel to "treat" a mental patient with "shock therapy"! What a cruel joke! Dearest Tree, she is okay. And someday, she will know this, too.
