The only shoulders are mine
where every liar can cry
and on my broken knees
I'll ask them to forgive me
for every time I tried
not hard enough to succeed

I need to be told you love me
I'm asking to be deceived
if I can sleep for one more night
I'll pretend that I beleive
in every teardrop I lose
which you attempt to retreive

Though it seems like, every day
you leave my shadow to bleed
on an altar of crude construct
a sacrifice to save your dream
while everything I claim to be
is poured into your boiling sea

Then dry my eyes
on my soiled sleeve
and wash your feet
before you leave

thatw was a very nice and well put-together poem i absolutely love it.keep the good job up and dont stop posting!!!
