Could you ever believe the days passed in a swift glance When I would whisper this will be our last chance Lets run to that place in the heavens Surrounded by angels of creation But distorted by thoughts of shame and devistation Lets run to the mountains filled with angelic dust Until you show me All the times you've broken my trust walking alone under the stars at night I realize that your never coming back singing to myself a chant or rhyme that is diluted in innocence I look back upon the days of lying in green grass and cant help but believe that the end is here at last |

Well done poem! With the beginning of each verse the thoughts were light, and sweet.. and then once I read the end they were seared and chilling. Keep writing. Always, GG  - And so it was that time stood still - |
