So I Takeā€¦

So I take this courage
And rip it right out of my chest
And I'll pass it along to anyone
Who has ever needed some
I know it's not that much
But ill do what I can
I know it's not the same
Since he's been gone

So I take your picture
And rip all up into shreds
You're looking at me
Staring at me
Can't get you out of my head
I know it's not your touch
It's just the coldness form the wind
I know it's not the same
Since you've been gone

So I take my passion
And get it all out of my head
You're gleaming at me
Digging at me
I can't believe what you said
You'll never see me
I'll never be free
Forever trapped in my bed
I know it's not the same
Since my minds been gone

So I take this courage
And rip it right out of my chest
And I'll pass it along to anyone
Who has ever needed some
I know it's not that much
But ill do what I can
I know it's not the same
Since I've been gone

This one is not for the scrap book.  I got a great sence of generosity from the main character in the song, it kinda made me feel good.  He's in pain, and yet still willing to share his courage...
Very genuine of him
loved it

and now I find myself
putting music to it
interesting
that every one who reads
this
would have their own
way of
hearing it

very nice E

I liked this.

It seemed like a song, yes, but also like a spell.  It seems to resonate in some indefinable manner with the apparently naked purpose of its words.  Well done.
