somebody's dungeon

Sometimes I just want the black and white,
the negative. I don't want the bench
in the park to be so green, the sky to be
so blue, the playground to be so multi-colored
in every bright of vivid hue. I want the soft
edges of gray only, lacking in the splash
of rainbow, for it lulls the mind when
thoughts of terror, red, wish to assail.

You personify your terror so... it must be a strong foe then.  But remember, defeated fear has a great payoff too.

You are definetely one of my favorite poets here.  I know exactly what you're referring to in this piece and I understand it clearly.  Love your work.
