the thunder may soon be heard |

Tonight the London air feels different somehow, cuts at my skin and stings my eyes. The wind screams warnings to me as I stumble through the streets. And the rain beats down upon me, it tries, but fails, to wash away these stains that disfigure me. And the weak sun briefly lights up my day but it is quickly ushered away, because right now I feel more comfortable in the dark. Tonight the London elements are matching my mood, clouds are mustering, the atmosphere is slow, saturated, on the brink, I sense the thunder may soon be heard |

You should submit this poem to the small journal Aalst, in Doncaster. The only reason I mention it is because one of my poems was published there a few months back, and the issue included poems and stories much in the tone of what you have just written. I loved it, anya. |

Its the sulphur dioxide that stings! Love it anya, London, you have only to walk its streets before the dawn, and the words will come. Zall, |
