Bent over barely keeping back working, chopping the hardened stalks and cleaning the damned plants, trying your best and still being yelled at despite the pain your back endures and your home provides. They're always on your mind, never stopping, and never ceasing in eating you like carpenter ants slowly turning your soul into some dark fight between your thoughts and the anger your face hides. Chop them away, box them up, send them off, while at home we go again, trying to make him stop. There's life in the darkness from which this fragment comes, You heard it, you smelled it, you knew, and now it haunts your life. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |
