Upon leaving
that day
summer just
on the way

my heart
already feeling
the oppression
of heat

it skipped a beat

caught breath
in frame

frozen
yet molten

hot of
airless space

I stayed so thus
though
out of place.

Upon leaving
a remnant
remained

still and forever
frozen in frame

while you
on the cutting room floor
felt nothing
outside the clip.

"frozen in frame"
I enjoyed this.  Sometimes it's best to cut things or persons out of the picture and leave them behind.

Damn, Anne,
that's even better than my
"I left you" Christmas thing.
