Love Survives

The anger faded
long ago,
washed away
by tears
that flowed easily.
When they dried
all that was left
was emptiness,
and pain.
Pain that comes
with every thought,
every memory,
of you.
Somewhere,
beyond the pain,
love survives.

Stand straight and tall, not the reflection as others see you, but as you truely are.        Clearwater

the sweet salty stains these glory pains
wash away the wonder of a will reatined leaving no care for all ive ever gained or loved beaten down by my own remains

Match, thank you.

arthur, such a sad reply. I like to think that there is always hope.

Dee,
I loved these words. Thank you for posting here! I like to think of this forum as "home,"
with Open being the backyard.

Mike, sometimes I would have to agree with you about Dark being 'home'. Other times I enjoy playing in Adult.

You’ve expressed some familiar feelings here Dee, and done it well!
