This an unholy union
evil with good
as if togetherness
would
strenghthen
each
in reach

broaden
the playing field
to bring more
yield

more souls
harvested in uncertainty
whether tis
hell or heaven
Jesus or allah

or cultist demon
bent on the demolition
of our moral fiber

wearing bad hair
and wrinkled heart
evidently not
wash and wear.

An unholy union
that in tied
rips apart
the curtain
of separation

and we stare into each other
as if in a mirror
torn between
serpent and saint
unaware we stand
perilously close
to the void

and when we fall
who will greet
our soul

come on down

God don't tell me, it's Bob Barker!

Great poem, some great imagery of oblivion, it builds and builds, then wham! Bob Barker, I dont know who that is but I dont have to!

I like this one a lot,
