The world goes dark
As light fades out
I lose my will
There is no doubt

My tortured soul
Cries out in pain
As my mind goes
To be insane

There’s no hope now
I’ve gone too far
Inside my mind
I see no star

Now I’m dead
And no one cares
Inside my grave
You cannot stare

This poem is hopeless, depressing, dejecting and has suicide written all over it.

"Two wrongs don't make a right,
but three rights make a left."

I took it as metaphor, since it'd be pretty hard for a dead person to write and post a poem. I also see it as a slow constricting, a numbness of feeling to try and prepare yourself not for living, but for survival.

Or, maybe it is about suicide. And if so, the post will have to be removed due to PIP's guidelines.

Blah blah blah, etc. Welcome to Dark, s_m.

I like it,

It is what it is,

Darkness, despair,

Poems dont depress me, life depresses me!

Nice style, s_m, a good write.

Mildly aggravating...one of my favourites writings was removed because of the guidelines. Anyway, I really enjoyed this piece. It was haunting; yet tranquil. An odd combination, but certainly perfect for this! Thanks!
