7. The Lord Finds His Lady

Love lies distant,
like coal bobbing sea.
Color in the darkness
of pounding, vibrant cold.

No! We must die together!

Collect her up, now.
Collect her up. A coin.
I must die with her.

Love lies distant,
statue angel bride.
And now she shall fade,
buried upon the coast.
At least get the water wet
face back to life. Oh please.
Must get the water-wet face
back to life
and breath
and thought.

Collect her up.
Collect her up.

Love lies distant,
statue of my bride,
and now to peace.
I must draw up some
water. Oh please.
Swim out from the
dark tide.

Losing keys.
Casting seeds
across the bathroom floor.

Carrying her,
velvet and bones,
to nowhere's white door.

Trailing hair,
flowing there,
obscured in swimming light.

Through the glaze,
her burning face
and water in her eyes.

Brushes brow,
tastes their ring,
promise blood on tongue.

Swallows loop --
the ring is gone.
Burning like the sun.

Leaves her to
the water's hold.
He must find out who is done.

I promise you, I've not been ignoring these--I'm just running about like mad lately--and I want to read them in order--I'm sort of anal that way....so, be expecting me---smile.

I am saving them for "dessert."

Glad you're enjoying, Dragon Mistress. Y'know, if you select the option of Topics from last 30 days, you can read Diastonene 1-4, too, which might help this make more sense.

(or might not )

Hi, sen! No worries. Read 'em if and when you have time. It's an interesting experiment/experience for me, trying a longerform work than I usually do. Let's see if I can keep the narrative from collapsing in on itself (it's a struggle for me).

And lack of time is the exact reason I ended up erasing ICQ again ... I figure that we (and all my PIPfriends) have plenty of time in e-mail and in PIP, ricocheting off each other. ICQ is a supreme *wait* of time (before someone actually logs in   .

Mikey,

yanno...I think I may start a discussion thread about icq--it seems to me it distracts from the forum--sort of like pulling someone aside to whisper--besides, it really works the hubby's nerves when I do that (chat). So my apologies to all if I seem distant--and hey, Mike, thanks for being so understanding.

(serenity exits, as the dryer "buzzer" just went off--AGAIN. )

No problem, Sen. I not only understand the lure/endure of ICQ, I live it. (until recently, that is )

Thanks for enjoying, Dragon Mistress. I'm glad you're able to follow this strange narrative loop I've got goin' here.
