What would you do
if all your life you just sat and cried
always forcing a smile
never having any pride

What would you do
if everyday you woke up wishing you were dead
Not wanting to open your eyes ever again
Never wanting to leave your bed

What would you do
if no one around you understood
all of them not seeing you hurting inside
to understand...i know they never could

What would you do
if you lost me
if i left this earth and left you behind
maybe then you would see

What would you do
when you walk around and i'm not there
your all alone
would you tell me its not fair

What would you do
if i said i didnt care
that i like to see you hurting
would you just sit and stare

What would you do
wheb you realize you did it
it was you who pushed me over the edge
maybe then you would care just a little bit

What would you do
if it was you and not me
if you were dead and i was alive
i know then you'd finally see

What would you do
i think you should take time and look around
open your eyes and see...PLEASE
before they bury me underground

You've written well on a subject that everyone knows and nearly everyone feels at some time in their life. But not everyone explores this in verse. Perhaps they should.

if i said i've written these words
and thought these thoughts
and hurt these hurts?

there are those in this life that don't give a damn about you and will walk you over the edge with a smile...
you just have find someone else to walk with.
someone you can trust.
like yourself for starters.
