somebody's dungeon

Is this love
simply by chance

I the damsel
you the knight

bringing with you
release from
the cell

coaxing me up
from my
personal hell?

Or was it fate
playing a hand

not caring
love might land

roughly
to the floor

not felt anymore

except as a distant
pulse
hardly worthy
of the heart
or anything
else?

If so,
I give up
the dance
of chance.

If fate
be so cold
I fold
alone.

And this love
can die
it's death
at last.

WhiteRose

Tippy toe, tippy toe.. you have a funny way of walking in a walk you walk so well. I hope that you're not disappointed.

Ariel was always my favorite babe.

WhiteRose, A good write on the letting go.

Liked the read

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".
