Her words are thunder to my broken heart.
Lightning defines every shadow sharply.
Shadow chains, not the metal cold.
Like rain.

Her words are hailing ice bones of regret.
Breaking windows with white stones she throws.
Such frail letters fall apart on impact.
Like snow.

Her words are violent winds within the trees.
Ripping leaves to tatters of dead fingers.
How will they catch the sun, she needs it so?
Like fire.

Her words wander down the moonless road.
A distant sign that never travels with her.
Always aching eyes to read that warning.
Go home.

I'm not even sure who this is about, who this "her" is. I'm just tired from my trip, I guess.

And on a different note, I saw Spider-man on the plane ride to Fla., and the ending just frustrated the living hell out of me. It felt like such a cop-out. Grrr!

I'm so complicated, huh? But not in the Avril Lavigne tie-wearing way.

Wow, I'm all over the place this morning.

Welcome back, squirrel dude!

This seems to be a lonely little ditty.

"Her words wander down the moonless road.
A distant sign that never travels with her.
Always aching eyes to read that warning.
Go home."

Sleep, says he.

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

There ain't nothin' wrong with bein' complicated in the Avril tie-wearin' way! Y' can borrow mine, straight from Scotland, with the bitchy pin on it.

*kiss* I almost always get the impression you're talking to/about me when you use the word 'she', baby. I understand I'm a bit biased, but still, even Serenity got a hint of it.

Besides, you can't write a poem mentioning hail (even if you didn't come outright and say that word ) AFTER I've written a God of Hailstones themed poem and expect me not to wonder where yr words were comin' from.

I love you.

And yr poetry.

Very much so.

You forgot Serenity.

Oh weirdly spacing one.

If you were busy deleting stuff you put, you'd better go back and fix that... Y'know you're not allowed to start saying something then not follow through. So there.

Oh, I was most DEFINITELY busy deleting stuff I put.

And I thought I did thank, Sen. Oops! If I didn't, sorry Sen! Can I have an omelette?

Well, if you're not going to tell the rest of the world, you're at least going to write it in an email to me... This very instant. And ask my forgiveness for making me wait.

Hmm, I think Kim might be creeping into my mood. Down, grrl, it's Bronwen's turn to have a romp in my way-too-twisted mind.

Eh, I'm just a confused little squirrel right now. I like wranx's suggestion -- sleep. Or sleep at work, which isn't nearly as desirable...
