The beast sits,
   silient like.
He rests. He waits.
Lacking-Mind pokes,
   and prods.
Not sensing he should pause,
   reassess his battle plan.
Awakened the beast he has.

"Don't tempt me!
   Don't tempt me!
      Don't tempt me!
You'll be surprised the response you get.
Don't try me!
   Don't try me!
      Don't try me!
Fools rush in, while I will win."

To start a war,
   this Lacking-Mind has done.
The strength, the prowess
   he has misjudged.
The beast wants out.
The beast wants to play.
Are you ready, O Lacking-Mind?
You are the fuel that pulses his veins.

"Don't tempt me!
   Don't tempt me!
      Don't tempt me!
You'll be surprised the response you get.
Don't try me!
   Don't try me!
      Don't try me!
Fools rush in, while I will win."

The battle rages,
   the beast will win.
O Lacking-Mind,
   the more you try
   the more you will lose,
   for ultimately, you injure yourself.
The blood is seeping,
such the beast did not desire.

"Don't tempt me!
   Don't tempt me!
      Don't tempt me!
You'll be surprised the response you get.
Don't try me!
   Don't try me!
      Don't try me!
Fools rush in, while I will win."

The beast is within me.

I like the way your mind works.

Without getting into a huge discussion, I think we both take similar meaning from scriptural symbolism. I enjoyed this, Titus, and I'll be reading more of you.

I like this, it has a way of describing my mentality when I was a 15 year old at school.

enjoyed this warning of the rage you hold within...it seeths with bloodlust...

they say the greatest enemy is war itself

it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown
