Frantic scratching at immortality Elusive as air to Hot rhythmical time Bleeding beats, Thumping undulations, Leaching through needle pierced Bone, transient flesh, Pooling, stiffened to frost With effacement of memory. Captivated nerve ends tingle Their ills, jangle their junctures. Sinuous cells snowed to Sterility, tissue fissures And folds. Neurons pulsate erratically Articulate, ambiguous, Veiled eyes denied Crystal visuals. Ephemerally iridescent Aura crackles to black As my broken breath clouds The window of eternity. |

I love this kind of writing. a combination of dense imagery, and lyrical tongue stew. You do this well more? BS. I never aimed at reality; I aimed at truth. --Orson Welles |

Hi Brian. Thanks for your encouraging comments. I've got a couple of pieces in pip, "Chimerical Tendencies" in dark, and "The Tide Turns" in Critical. Thanks again, look forward to reading some of yours. Beccy |
