somebody's dungeon

I've escaped
the prison walls
of unconscious
compliance.
Breaking the rules
I've achieved
gratification
beyond the realm
of useless thought.
Above the city
that lies within
your conscious,
I travel now
to places of peace
where your shadow
never was,
and thinking
is still pure.

in a million bottles,
you just have to know
which one to pull out of the ocean.

I can truthfully say that I loved this.
Almost everyone feels this, and you describe it perfectly (for me at least).

Gotta love plane rides -- when your legs aren't compressed into your spine, that is.

I'm impressed... I especially like the line "I travel now to places of peace
where your shadow never was...." wow...

Isn't escape wonderful. I especially enjoyed the last line, "... and thinking is still pure." Kudos.
