I'm captured by your broken heart your pleas that ring out strong your inability to accept the truth won't make this love seem wrong. I want to do what's right of course but where do we draw the line what's right within my lonely space is only right sometimes. I'd stay only out of obligation this doesn't seem to make you see that my heart is elsewhere, and in love with illusion's reality. The strength you took from my being pushed me to the brink of reason now by the world I'm seen as warped accused of marital treason. Should I go, or should I stay that's not the question that you pose you want the staying, void of love a withering, defiant rose. I can't think straight anymore I must push on and be steadfast please don't blame yourself or me sometimes love just doesn't last. WhiteRose Love seduces joy from the heart |
