I want to be that moon;
naïve, with a smiling face,
watching humanity from afar
and never hurting because of it.
Ageless and beautiful,
casting that cool white light
to give peace and calm.

I want to be those clouds,
drifting aimlessly;
accentuated by each ray of pure light,
being pushed and pulled
by an invisible breeze;
existing only
to rain myself away
or dissipate into early morning fog.

I want to be that lightning tearing through the clouds;
chaotic order,
jumping from one cloud to the next,
leaving room for my brethren,
lasting less than a second
then gone forever.
Just positive and negative charges
that will never meet again.

I'm just in that sorta mood again. I can't stare out my window all night anymore, 'cause I work all night... It just messes with your head. Graveyard shifts don't go hand in hand with insomnia. Augh.

yet deign i embrace you with meek adoration?
your fragile humanity rised with contrition.
