Last night, after writing Blood and rainbows with Tiersdin, we talked greedily for a while. One thing she asked me was where Lorigrrl got her great screenname. I told her that she came up with it herself, 'cause she's great with names. In fact, I told Tier, she sometimes calls herself Tivona Leigh Karsela, how cool is that?

Tier thought it was pretty cool. Maybe you will, too.

A poem:

To Tivona Leigh Karsela
The star of sun in falling grace.
Occluded night among its face.

The sun is slowly drooping west.
I walk along its road again.
Violet ray finality.
Off the hills, the shadows sting.
Nothing here seems settled, right.
Almond trees below treeline.

Lemon trees are dropping fruit.
Evergreens are staying mute.
I walk along the hollow road.
Gift of song from space below.
Holding onto what I know.

Kill dawning cracks of heart and time.
A break ahead to walk the field.
Remembering her sweetest rhymes.
Sun will rise before I yield.
Evergreens are staying mute.
Lemon trees are dropping fruit.
A light. She guides me by her moon.

She said burn ... together.

Aw.... Baby.

Yuppers. I is Tivona Leigh Karsela in this little world where a bunch of friends got together and renamed themselves. Well, I renamed them all. It's a group from school. Who I don't even talk to anymore. Yeesh, has it been that long?

I am forever on the quest to find the perfect name. This has led to a collection of hundreds, or maybe now thousands, of names, and right now Tivona's just the one with most appeal. But it's not perfect. The perfect male name hasta be either Ingrum (meaning angel-raven or Ing's raven) or Kieran (meaning little dark one; I have a goth doll named Kieran!).

Let's see if I can remember this all...

Tivona Leigh Karsela. Tivona means lover of nature. Leigh means poetic. Karsela is a loooong story, and I'm not even sure if Mikhail entirely understands it.

When I graced Mike with this li'l habit of renaming people, what happened is Connor Adelaide Riordin. Connor means wolf-lover (since I'm th' wolf ), and the other two have slipped out of my brain, for lack of sleep.

Tyler, my ex-guitarist, was Brogan Amdis Kariayan. Even though Karayan, in my mind, was already taken, so he just altered the spelling and INSISTED he get it. Brogan = terror (and HOW cool is that??). Amdis - immortal. Karayan/Kariayan = dark. Terrifying immortal of the dark. This boy was subtle when I walked him through my suggestions of cool names.

Jon, the li'l bugger who should be shot, was Xander Braedon Delano. Xander was a sarcastic gesture; the defender of mankind. The meaning of Braedon is for the moment lost to me. And Delano is, literally "of the dark".

Manda (my best girl friend), actually the first to be named, was Alixys (pronounced Alexis; she chose the spelling) Desdemona Darcy. Alixys means the exact same as Xander. Desdemona is of-the-devil. Darcy means dark. And her nickname is Baby Punk! (I'm Mommy Goth.)

Sarah, the li'l idiot who slept with every guy I ever liked, was Kalli Sidonia Donahi. Kalli - black/dark, energetic goddess. Sidonia - to entice. Donahi - big soul.

And Leonie, the other side of the L.A. twins (me being the other one; she's Leonie-Arianne, I'm Lori-Anne), is Kavindra Feigh Rhiannon. Kavindra means... Um.. Well, well, Feigh means.... Um... Rhiannon means witch-nymph goddess! And to think, I named her most recently, and I still talk to her! Well, Manda too.

Anyway, just a little look into my names habit. Mike's fault for getting me started with an awesome poem.

written in blood before everything went black

Let's all wish her a happy dark birthday!

Which would look something like:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LORI-ANNE!!!
