I think this is the first "love"-related piece I've written that wasn't about someone (GASP!). I was writing this in my head while I was working a few days ago. It's meant to be said in a slow-rap like voice...kind've a basic poem but I like the ending. Criticize me, please. ---------------------------------------------------- "Over You" I can still hear the laughter Rolling from your eyes I can still feel your kisses Against my thighs... I can still remember Your body 'gainst mine And I can still hear Your voice in my mind... But I'm over you now Yeah, I'm over you I died a thousands deaths Drowning in your lips I quenched my thirst Sip by sip... With your sweet tender voice Filling within my soul You left me defenceless Against your control... But I'm over you now Yeah, I'm over you I see you in my dreams Calling out my name Wanting what we had To be the same And I call out to you With my tears As I cry for the loss Of these few years But I'm over you now Yeah, I'm over you And if I say that loud enough Maybe I'll hear it And if I kick and scream And force myself to dream it Then I'll slowly believe What I tell myself now It'll come true... Somehow... 'cause I'm over you now Yeah...over you ---------------------------------------------------- Oops! #^_^# Forgot to warn everyone that it was mildly perverted in the beginning.
