I miss you tongiht,
though I'm not really sure why.
I should hate you.

But I miss the way you wade me feel,
and the places you made me see.
I miss the way you made me cry,
at the most simple things you did.

And I miss the way that we connected,
or rainy afternoons.
I miss the person you made me be.

I miss the way I could hear your thoughts,
and we could sit by eachother and not say a thing.
I miss the way that you would buy me simple gifts,
that had so much thought behind them,
that they made me feel like I was the most loved person on the world.

And I miss the way that you'd write me notes,
when you knew I wasn't okay.
I miss the way that you'd call,
when you'd read a poem and knew that someone was wrong.

I miss the way your eyes shined,
and the ways you made me laugh.
I miss the times that we shared,
and the memories we made.

I miss the times when it didn't matter,
the times that I was sure you cared.
I miss the times when I was the one you loved.
Instead of the one you called names.

And I miss most of all our friendship,
and the person I thought you were.
I miss that feeling of security,
and I miss not wondering whether it was true,
or not.

I miss you.

Losing the closeness we have with people just blows. I can relate, though not thoroughly, from still having to deal with the blow of losing a very very very close friend to distance and indifference. *sigh* Good read.

I loved this. But y' wrote "wade" instead of "made" at th' beginning (unless my eyes are imaginin'). If y' fix that one mistake, more people'll probably read to th' bottom, as they should, 'cause it's a great poem.
