Hapless wondering eyes
Peer silently through a frosted window
Glances dance from tinsilated trees
To exotic colors that wrap hidden treasures
There, on the inside

The piercing pain in the fingers and toes
Has begun to fade to a familiar numbness
The ever-shrinking stomach
Sings its sorrow filled song
Here on the outside

Careless Children dance cheerfully
Around an overflowing table
Ignorant of their own fortune
Spoiled without challenge
There, on the inside

Hopeless hours of waiting
For darkness to abide
For illusions of warmth
The morning sun brings
Here on the outside

The comfort of touch
The Bliss of a kiss
The safety she feels
With him at her side
There, on the inside

Solace is found
Somewhere near the end of a bottle
It is easier to pretend not to care
Loneliness, the curse of many a man
Here on the outside

Music is the language God used to create the Universe

Very interested imagery painted by this piece...excellent work.

If homosexuality is a disease, let's all call in queer to work:  "Hello.  Can't work today, still queer." (If only...>; P)
