The clouds whisper banana surprise in my ear.
How about a ride down town tonight, my dear?

Consequently, I have had too many wrapped chickens for one.
Under the barrel, midnight sun, left over vacation fun.

Wondering without slipping is obviously unheard of,
Though too many Oreos without milk goes solo.

'Tis, this my own bad breath coming back to haunt me?
Maybe so, but only the unknown knows.

For this is goodnight and forever good-bye,
The scarecrow cries with a banana peel in his eye.

To me, this really reads like something Jhonen Vasquez would write. 'Course, I don't know if anyone but me and bsquirrel knows who Vasquez is.

this is much better than lmnop's version

Makes me want to eat a potassium stick (what my mom calls a banana)

She said burn ... together.
