This is one of my rare positive sides. I was always the strange one, and today I think not changing myself paid off. This is what kept me going... each time I wonder about this world coming down around me, it's not worth despair loneliness, pain and hurt I need a path to guide me, a path, so I can see there's a thought racing round bright, blinding not broken or bound my time will come criticism see until then, world... ...just let me be my drummer; I hear my call to others I seem to stumble, fall the goals I have, only I know thing I see, ideals I follow when the world seems to take that away there's only one thing I have to say my time will come convention balk until then, world... ...just let me walk astray is where you look at a path from wrong simply depends on who won look at it form where you are and see shout it out...world, just let me be |
