What would I do,
If I didn't have you by my side,
To keep me from making wrong mistakes,
To keep me in line,
What would I do,
If you were taken away from me?
Would I start making the wrong decisions,
Would I still be the me you created me to be?
What would I do,
Without your love and your care,
To keep me in a steady pace,
To love, help others, and share,
What would I do,
Without your warm kisses and bear hugs,
And those late night snacks,
Your undying affection and your love,
What would I do,
Without our 3 hour long talks,
Our drives just to see the trees,
Our late night walks,
There isn't anything I couldn't do,
If I lost you,
Because I am a person you made,
But I know I would never be the same,
You formed me into the person I am,
You always let me know that I can,
Be anyone or anything I long for,
I can do and be even more,
Because I'm a little you,
And anything you can do, I want to do it too,
I want to be a little you...

I wish I ever could have felt so close to my own mother... Maybe it's one of those "teen" things that's created the distance, but there was no closeness as a child and none now as a young adult. You're very lucky!

Ya, my mother is the most important person in this whole entire earth to me and if she needed a kidney, a heart, a liver, or anything and I was capable to give it to her I would in a split second.  She is gone alot and she is busy all the time but she somehow always finds time somewhere in her busy schedule to hang out with my sister and I, and I love her dearly for it.  Maybe she's Supermom?  Ya never know! Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Bsquirrel, writing is one of the only things I have in my life that I enjoy and that helps me escape from the world and the environment I'm around alot so I really love, and have a passion to write, and its something I didn't discover I was able to do until I was really depressed one day and I wrote a poem and ever since I have been writing like mad!  I love it and I love all you people here.  Thanks!!!!

Very nice, LP1. I liked it a lot.
