I know who you are
you can never hope to escape.
I know where you’re going.
Good luck on your way.

If there’s a time in this world
that I haven’t spoken for yet...
If there’s a time in this world,
I don’t think I want it.

Oh, can you see beyond the mystery?
Oh, can you see beyond everything I’ve lived for?
Oh, can you see my escape?

And I don’t think you know what it’s like.
And I don’t think you really care!
And I don’t think you know anything at all.
And I don’t think you understand.
And I don’t think you’ll take my hand,
and oh, you don’t care...
Oh no, you don’t care!

Because you’re always better than me
and you’re always trying some way.
Oh, you’re always so much more,
you’re always so much more.

If there’s a time in this world
that I haven’t spoken for yet...
If there’s a time in this world,
I don’t think I want it.

I know now there’s so much.
So much beyond all we’ve had.
And you know now
it’s time for escape,
it’s time to escape,
it’s time to escape from me!
Oh, no...

And do you really care enough
to say you love me?
Care enough to say in a broke voice:
“I’m sorry”?
I’m sorry, so sorry...
To leave you behind.
I’m sorry, so sorry, sorry
to leave you behind.

If there’s a time in this world
that I haven’t spoken for yet...
If there’s a time in this world,
I don’t think I want it.

One of my alter-egos wrote this. Poor Kimmy... I've gotten over the bitter-love phase, and steadfastly hope to stay out of it, but I just can't seem to make any of my alter-egos reach the same stages as me at the same time.

(And no, it's not multiple personalities; it's actually that I'm an author, and a lot of my characters are aspects of me, and they garner a bit too much control sometimes... Eh.)
