Seasons of circumstance, you rule me no more.
The tides of change march onward.
Decisions are no longer based on fear.
My God, why didn't I see before?
Why sit, loathe, then implore?
Enough of you 'hor'.
In choosing the ridiculed companion
I spit in the face of the queen
Her robe tasseled with the turmoil
She sought to bathe me in.
I prefer showers of choice...

Interesting self-edit y've got goin' there. I liked this poem. Y'know, at first I thought the title was Seasons of Circumference ...

Hmm ... time for ME to self-edit (myself)! :p

You sound fed up, so you got up, and went.

I like the decisiveness of this one. Good for you.
