the circle of life

A soul wrapped in mortality
Is born again in strife
New born pure fragility
begins another life

Breif time to take life's measure
Enjoy each old delight
Learning quickly what to treasure
Before the fading of the light

Springs gives way to winters frost
The seasons change, the young grow old
The souls wrapping leaves will soon be lost
As the warmth of life turns again to cold

This soul released from mortal clay
Is  set free again from strife
Within Gods keeping let it stay
Until called once more to life

Living teaches us to die
And dying teaches us this truth
Every death has a new beginning
Wrapped inside it

How very well expressed Arthur.
The never ending circle of life indeed.
I enjoyed this piece.
