Castles in the sand
crying in the rain
writting down these words
helps to heal my pain

God what have i done to you
i don't even believe your there
everytime i turn to you
It seems the answer wasnt fair
my mother lived her life for you
but you did seem to care

If i were to die today like those ive lost before
i wouldnt be worthy to see her there
inside of heaven's door

God if you are really there
give me and answer soon
before i start to slip away
and drown beneath the moon

(....yah yah dont say it i should stick to drawing instead of writing poems)

I would never say that. Writing is a wonderful way to explore your feelings. And I have yelled at GOD more than once myself, and even told him he was a fake. So, what do you paint?

I think we all get mad at God - he can take it!  Welcome to Passions, and it sounds like you hav a lot of feelings of anger, and writing is a wonderful way to get them the heck out.  Nice first poem, our paths will cross again I am sure.  Happy writing.

There is nothing means more to me than
my faith, my family and my friends.

An ounce of doubt is worth more than ten thousand creeds... Your venting is not only a way of dealing, and healing, but also JUSTIFIED.

I understand, I appreciate your words, and I can relate.

Your having been so adamant with your questions, you will get answers. Just listen. And by the way, it is your emotions shown through your words that definitely make you worthy to be there with her.

Thanks for showing us all we can feel.

First of all, Welcome to Dark Passions
As for your Poem, well I enjoyed it greatly.  I too can understand questioning God and the more spiritual side of life.  I use to question why I am even here.  But then when I look at my beautiful daughters, I know why.
Anywho ..... nice writing.  Keep it up

I do both writing and drawing, but have found that writing releases alot of hurt and anger inside a person.  I love to write and have been doing it for awhile.  this is a graet first post and i hope to see more beautiful work from you!  Good job.

Well my friend, being an atheist myself, I
too have written a poem contradicting
the existence of any spiritual deity. I will
enter it if you would like to read my
rendition of not believing that god exists.

Staring into the sun just makes you blind to what beauty actually exists in the sky.

To come to know God, you have to have faith that he is there.  Have faith that he is there and all else will come together in time, life is full of tests of faith and every time you think he's not listening he is giving you one more reason to come to him.  Trust in him and know that everything happens for a reason, whether or not we see that reason 10 minutes after or 10 years after if you have faith and trust in him he will show you, this much I promise.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

Wonderful little poem. I liked it a lot. If you thought that this was bad and should sitck to your drawings, then you must be one fantastic artist...(just playing, although I'm sure you are). I'm not a christian, and have never really been a fan of organized religion (too many hipocrits and little boy-loving priests...hehe)(no offense anyone). But it just goes to show how unfair life is. It will always be that way. We just have to deal with it the best we can and who knows what will happen when we die (I know if I'm wrong I'm going to the hot place...heaven just seems so boring...) and I hope to read more of your work.

Welcome, and I'm sorry for your pain, which you've described well with your words.  But, look again, sometimes there are signs, we may not always see right away.
