When you walked out the door, Didn't turn back to say goodbye, My heart felt like it was dropping, Then a tear fell from my eye, It hurt me to watch you go, As you kept walking down the street, I wish you could have known, How much you meant to me, If only you would walk back into my life, With that big smile I loved on your face, Everything would be like it used to be, And the pieces of my heart would be put back in place, When I didn't get a warm hug goodbye, Or a kiss on my cheek, I couldn't feel my body, I could barely breathe, I loved when you used to kiss me goodbye, When you used to hold me tight, And tell me that everythings ok, I knew everything was alright, But that was then, This is now, I wish I could make everything ok somehow, All I want is you to love me one more time, And be the one I can call all mine, All I want to know is How and When, I can get you back into my life again. Mysteria- thank you very much for your comment! Dark Kisses- Ya, I have this thing where I'm not really able to freely express my sad feelings through talking with my mouth, so I write them down and post them on here. Thank you both! LADYP1 |

Sorry that I had overlooked this one for a while! (I needed a good cry this morning for some reason, and I found this to be a most excellent prompter of such tears) Due to the specifics of how my (I still believe to this day) Soul Mate chose to temporarily say "So long for now", I related to this one to a tee. Thank you for sharing, and reminding me how I fell as well! Great poem! |

yeah, im not too comfortable with expressing my innermost emotions out loud either so i write them in poems and it makes me feel better u expressed the sadness pple feel during partings really well. most of us want to stop it but we cant bring ourselves to, thus we dont and we never get it back |

Blakloks, thanks for your reply and I'm glad I know there are some people relate to how I feel myself. I'm just not good with telling people my feelings!!! Ecspecially if it is a friend or loved one. But poetry is what I turn to whenever I need to just LET IT ALL OUT! Once again, thanks and take care. LADY |
