My tears wait for a smile,
My heart cries for a laugh,
My body yearns for a love,
That has been overtaken by evils wrath,
I wander through the shadows,
Never seeing the light of happiness,
So I get on my knees,
As I start to pray,
I cry to God,
To send a better day,
What can I do to destroy this sorrow,
What will make a better tomorrow,
When will laughter excite my face,
When will I find love's sweet embrace,
So many things I wish I knew how to make alright,
When will the darkness turn into light,
I want everything to be how it used to be,
I want happiness to take control of my life,
And I want to be able to once again see,
This is a painting of my sorrow,
I'm waiting for there to be a better tomorrow....

Dark

A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness.

When an oil painting of Dale Earnhardt's crushed car can be sold for $25,000, your words are priceless... Openly sharing your heart is a way in which you can overcome defeat in the most valiant of ways. Once again, I relate...
Once again, I appreciate. When you realize that being above the painful situations of life doesn't necessarily mean being pedalstalistic or self servient, you come to appreciate what you have learned from the bad...from the sad...and you rise above simple perseverance, and radiate to a point that you actually use your experiences to help a stranger's own turmoil.
