Tears are for the weak That flow right from your soul You let others move in Not looking at the toll Tears are for the weak That crush your inner being They turn you upside down Without you even seeing Tears are for the weak They show your ability to love You become confortable and relaxed Then instantly shot down like a dove Tears are for the weak They will cut you like a knife Feeling tattered and torn Not wanting to finish life Tears are for the weak They make your spirit die Twisting and turning Only asking ... why? Tears are for the weak Believe in what I say Hide them the best you can Or you shall surely pay ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry I know alot will disagree with me here. But I just got out of a relationship and this is how I feel at the moment!!  A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness. |

Very nicely done. I think many if not most who will read this will not respond with feelings of dissagreement, as we've been in this position, and I, for one, can totally relate to many times of feeling this exact way as a result of hurt and loss. As your tears help purge and cleanse your soul, a newfound strength arises... Likewise, I would like to point out the irony in your statements, for as I read this great write, I took it a different way. Tears are definitely for the weak, for it is our strength in perseverance that we weap for the weak of spirit who cause this pain to those of us that truly understand love. Yes , I agree .... it is their loss in the end. And soon, very soon, they will see that. Until then the tears shall stay hidden. Tears open up my soul and that is not something I intend to do right now. Thanks for the encouraging statements! Dark A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness. |

True to a point, Gloom. But what does compassion get you these days? More tears? When does the cycle end? Or does it ever? Just a thought, Dark A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness. |

In a way, I agree with you. When I'm hurt I don't let those who hurt me see me cry. But sometimes, tears will come no matter what. Very well written.  ~sky I'm in charge, and I say question authority! |
