Burning down in hatred, streaming down inpain. Numbing my face with icy hot liquid, theyleave nothing of their trace except the heat seared along my skin. Hurt fills my eyes; everything is gray my walls are closing in. Suffocating in my Agony, drowning in my tears.

My heart, which was so proud and strong, is now weak and lonely, ‘tis broken by that tongue of steel which cuts so close. My mind once brilliant once full of life is now dead. Poisoned by your false love. My sprit is but a shadow lurking some where deep within, forgotten and alone it whimpers in the darkness.

You left me only myself, but cant you see even that has been striped of all breath that once filled my body. Cant you see it, you know its there you have left me alone and unprotected...You left me with what I have lost in the battle of love.... Myself.

An interesting poem.  I like the paradox at the end.  BTW, welcome to Passions.  Hope you enjoy writing and being here as much as I have.

"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh"
