You used to tell me it¡¯s cool, That we are connected in a different way. But every time I come back from school, With loneliness my only company ¨C day after day. I used to think it¡¯s true, That this suspended melody would forever last. But I opened my eyes out of the blue, Ended the reminiscence to a fragile past. We used to stay late and talk, About bits and bites that time does not trace. But now I¡¯d never go back and walk, At that, that once gorgeous place. I used to believe that it¡¯s true, Until I stopped and looked, out of the blue. |

Interesting poem. I like the way you've integrated the sort of "title lines" of each stanza into the stanzas themselves, by rhyming them. Interesting poem. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |
